Thomas Kinkade, Painter of Light

Thomas Kinkade, Master of Light, is one of my favorite artists. I love all of his paintings, from the cottages and gardens to the lighthouses; they're all masterpieces to me.

This particular image is called Light of Peace, and it's just breathtaking!

Thomas Kinkade's Light of Peace, colored with Kohinoor Pencils and Pastel Chalks

To my delight, Cornish Heritage Farms sells high-quality TK rubber stamps. They're truly beautiful images. I've used them a couple of times for monotone cards, but this was my first attempt at coloring a TK image. This literally took me hours to complete, but I'm hoping that next time it will go a little quicker. I used my Kohinoor woodless pencils (12-color set) with baby oil and a blending stump to color the image. I'm looking forward to experimenting with different inks and paper.

Stamps: CHF TK Light of Peace
Paper: SU Whisper White, SU Night of Navy
Ink: Black VersaFine
Toools: Kohinoor woodless pencils, baby oil, blending stump, SU pastels

Happy stamping!
